Session Description:
In October of 2018, Springer Nature conducted a global survey on library challenges, publisher engagement, and Springer Natures level of service to the library community. The goal of this survey was to better understand the trials facing librarians and the ways publishers and libraries can partner. The results of the survey will be the basis of a White Paper that will be released in 2019. In this session, well present the findings of the survey and what it may mean for the academic community. Some of the questions covered in the survey include responsibilities, challenges to individuals roles and to the library as a whole, and how content is evaluated.
